The assognment for one of my final courses of the bachelors degree was to design a Sportcollege at the Schiehaven in Rotterdam. The assignment gave a set program of demands and to use the existing building at the location 'de Nieuwe Maaskant'. I chose to add on to the building by following the existing horizontal lines in the Nieuwe Maaskant building. I also used materials that can be found in the surroundings.
